20 Percent of Lands in City Are Uncertified

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama instructed urban village head to map and make a report about the neglected and uncertified lands in the capital.

In Jakarta, there are more than 20 percent of uncertified lands

"In Jakarta, there are more than 20 percent of uncertified lands. If we match it, this is similar to people with income below UMP," he stated, at the office of National Development Planning Ministry, South Jakarta, Thursday (8/11).

He assessed, in the city, there are many people with income below UMP and have asset but unable to process a land certificate. Considering, they have to pay five percent multiplied with asset nominal.

City Asset Inventory Handled by BPKAD

Meanwhile, National Development Planning Minister, Sofyan Djalil explains, the poor was given relief in making land certificate through the Regional Program (Proda) for Land Certification.

"They just pay Rp 300,000 and BPN will give certificate," he disclosed.
